經過今年在義大利較長時間的居住，有機會更加了解西方繪畫的完整脈絡發展，在這過程中，參觀了許多民間教堂與官方美術館，欣賞了各種繪畫作品，其生動而豐富的畫面，對內心產生強烈的衝擊與感動。無形中深化了內在美感的成長與判斷。而這也豐富了我在法國與美國時期產生的繪畫見解。
在今年的創作中，光線與色彩的協調，物體間的架構安排條件更為多元，各種色調的轉換與心境的結合，使得作品畫面呈現更加複雜與具有挑戰性，其中有些過程來自面對自然當下的直覺感受與思考。激發了一些未預知的效果。而這種體會，使我在畫面的主觀構成與表達中產生了前進的力量，豐富了畫面的思想層次。色彩效果在相互影響與協調中，對內心的感受與觸動更為深刻，畫面空間與色面的轉換更加流暢。這些思考元素通過直覺、美感與反覆思考，引導出畫面向前推演的風貌。
After spending an extended period in Italy this year, I had the opportunity to deepen my understanding of the comprehensive development of Western painting traditions. During this time, I visited numerous local churches and official art museums, admiring a wide variety of paintings. The vivid and richly expressive images left a profound impact on me, evoking strong emotions and enriching my aesthetic sensibilities. This experience has further informed and enhanced the artistic insights I developed during my time in France and the United States.
In my creations this year, I have explored greater diversity in the coordination of light and color, as well as the arrangement of structural elements within my compositions. The interplay of tonal shifts and emotional states has resulted in works that are more intricate and challenging. Some aspects of this process stem from an intuitive response to nature, combined with deliberate reflection, which has sparked unexpected results. These experiences have imbued my work with a renewed sense of direction, enhancing the conceptual depth and expressive power of my paintings.
The effects of color interplay and harmony resonate more deeply with the emotions and perceptions of viewers, while the transitions between spatial planes and color fields flow more seamlessly. These creative elements, guided by intuition, aesthetic sensibility, and iterative contemplation, propel the evolution of my compositions toward new dimensions.

李萬全的創作深受多元文化的啟發，靈感源於多年來的觀察與探索。他自國立台灣師範大學畢業後，前往美國進修，並旅居法國二十餘年。這段海外經歷讓他接觸到美國的自由藝術氛圍與歐洲的繪畫傳統，進而塑造出他獨特的藝術視角。
他的作品融合東方的細膩觀察力與西方藝術的多樣性表現，透過光影與色彩的細緻運用，展現日常生活中的情感與意涵。作品的特色在於捕捉生活中的微小細節，讓觀者在欣賞的過程中，發現畫面中的新視角，並感受到與自身經驗的連結。

Lee Wan Chuan’s creations are deeply inspired by diverse cultures, drawing from years of observation and exploration. After graduating from National Taiwan Normal University, he pursued further studies in the United States and later lived in France for over two decades. These overseas experiences exposed him to the freedom of American artistic expression and the traditions of European painting, shaping his unique artistic perspective.
His work combines the meticulous observation of Eastern aesthetics with the diversity of Western artistic expression. Through the delicate interplay of light and color, his paintings convey the emotions and meaning found in everyday life. A hallmark of his art is the ability to capture the subtle details of life, inviting viewers to discover new perspectives within the paintings and to connect these moments to their own experiences.
These cross-cultural experiences serve as a foundation for his creativity. His paintings reflect both a profound appreciation of nature and life, as well as an understanding of cultural fusion. In his works, one can sense the vibrancy and freedom of America alongside the depth and introspection of European art. Through his creations, Lee aims to share the stories and emotions embedded in his paintings, inviting viewers to explore the subtle connections between art and life and to find their own resonance and inspiration within his work.
